Meet our Team

Rachel is a stylist who specializes in blonding, bobs, and hair extensions. With almost 15 years of experience behind the chair, she took her career to the next level and became co-owner of Cheveux Salon in May 2023. Rachel attended Harrisburg High School, then Rend Lake College for her Cosmetology Certification. She has continued her education over the years with training from Nick Arrojo, Goldwell Academy classes and in-salon education. Outside of work Rachel enjoys trips to the beach with a good book, hanging out at home with her dogs and spending time with her family.

After thirty five years of salon ownership and mentoring stylists, Sherry is going to focus on her clients and personal endeavors. 

She enjoys dancing, bike riding, Pickleball and spending time with her friends. 

Jodi is a Herrin native, born and raised in Southern IL. She has always known her passion is being creative and styling hair. 

She specializes in all things BLONDE. Her favorite coloring technique if she had to pick, would be lived in color. The lived in color technique emphasizes your natural hair to make your features pop. Jodi also really enjoys cutting and styling longer length hair. 

Fun fact about Jodi, she attended the Paul Mitchell Hair Academy in Tennessee to obtain her cosmotolgy license.

You’ve heard the voice, now it’s time for you to meet the person on the other side of the phone:
I’ve been at Cheveux Salon since 2017 and absolutely LOVE the vibe and the people who come in and out of the salon every day. Over a lifetime of job and volunteer experiences, I have to say that working at Cheveux is truly my favorite place to be. As the Front Desk Manager I have a variety of administrative jobs; hospitality roles; and overall team player with the stylists at the salon. The best part of each day is being able to engage with our clients and to connect with them as individuals. It is my hope that each person who enters the salon, leaves feeling that same upbeat and energetic vibe that we hope to pass on.

Jenna Brandon is a co-owner of Cheveux Salon.  She has grown up in Southern Illinois and is excited to be a business owner in this area.  Jenna has established herself after eight years in the industry. Her passion is creating stunning looks with sew in hair extensions and color enhancing her clients’ natural beauty.  Jenna is certified in Habit Hair Extensions and is always keeping up with the latest trends by attending continuing ed courses. She enjoys spending time with her family, friends & puppy Elsie for fun. 

Amber is a stylist who specializes in Color, Sugaring and Dermaplane facials.  Amber has been a stylist for over five years.  She has been certified in Dermaplaning since May of 2019. 

She has been certified for sugaring through Alexandria Professional since October, 2019.  She loves all things beauty and helping people feel beautiful.

Hello! My name is MaKayla Speir, I’m 28 years old and I have been doing hair since 2017. I attended beauty school at The Salon Professional Academy in Evansville Indiana. My professional career has been in Evansville since I have started! I specialize in blondes and balayage.

I recently moved to Marion with my Fiancé and we are excited to plant our roots here.  In my free time I enjoy shopping, spending time with friends and family, being crafty and playing video games. Im so excited to be apart of the Cheveux family!
